Job Title: Documentation Specialist

This is a 3+ month contract and onsite in Deerfield, Illinois. W2 ONLY.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform all basic production equipment operation, ensuring a steady workflow and achieving production standards as required by the department.
  • Review documents for accuracy and completeness, making necessary adjustments and corrections or escalating per established procedures.
  • Conduct research to obtain information for incomplete documents and materials, and support inventory/material handling, reviews, and adjustments.
  • Manually prepare documents, materials, and information for data entry, including gathering, collating, and preparation based on retention schedule and process overview.
  • Create digital documents, capture data into digital databases, and perform regular backups while updating and maintaining databases, archives, and filing systems.
  • Complete operator/job logs and other documentation, and provide Team Lead information to track job completion and produce reports/documentation to validate damaged pieces during production runs.
  • Ensure quality checks are performed before, during, and upon completion of each packet, with emphasis on final product and complying with retention schedule and team expectations.
  • Troubleshoot basic and intermediate program and system malfunctions to restore normal functioning.
  • Maintain appropriate supply inventory based on established procedures and requirements.
  • Perform various office clerical functions, including filing, monitoring office supplies, scanning, retrieving, and delivering files and records, typing, and scanning documents.
  • File documents following established retention policies and ensure quality control on all work assigned.
  • Provide support for new employees, answer workflow questions, and set an example for co-workers.

This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and be able to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
