Maintenance Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and efficiency of our facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities, equipment, and systems to identify issues and ensure proper functionality.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures, including lubrication, adjustments, and parts replacement.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues, troubleshooting problems and replacing faulty components as needed.
  • Assist in the installation of new machinery and equipment, ensuring correct and safe setup.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work, including dates, parts used, and issues resolved.
  • Adhere to safety regulations and best practices, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff.
  • Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests, prioritizing repairs to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure minimal disruption to operations.
  • Monitor and manage inventory of maintenance supplies and tools, ensuring necessary materials are available.
  • Identify opportunities for system improvements and participate in upgrade projects to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • 3 years of experience in maintenance or a related field.
  • Experience level: Experienced.
