About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Learning Links. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and inclusive environment for our young students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the day-to-day operations of our inclusive preschool classroom, ensuring the overall health and safety of the program and adherence to licensing standards.
  • Supervise and guide the children in the classroom, planning and implementing engaging activities that promote cognitive, social-emotional, and kindergarten readiness skills.
  • Collaborate with the Lead Teacher to develop, evaluate, and oversee the child-centered, play-based curriculum and activities.
  • Provide individualized care for each child's needs, including changing diapers and assisting with self-help skills.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and staff regarding school policies and philosophy, as well as daily care and progress.
  • Support the collection of DRDP reports, documentation, and evidence.
  • Partner with the Lead Teacher to maintain a warm and inviting classroom environment that is clutter-free and organized with age-appropriate materials.
  • Other duties as required.
Requirements
  • Associate's, Bachelor's, or Master's in Early Childhood Education preferred.
  • Early Childhood Education Teaching Credential preferred.
  • Preferred 12+ core ECE units as per Title 22 requirements, but not required.
  • Experience teaching children ages 2-5 years old.
