Job Summary:
StarVista is seeking a skilled Mental Health Clinician - Bilingual to provide strength-based, family-centered home-visiting therapeutic services to at-risk families in San Mateo County. The ideal candidate will have experience working with underprivileged populations, particularly those with language barriers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of family needs and provide individual, family, and/or group therapy to address those needs.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including case management and advocacy services.
- Collaborate with other staff members to coordinate ethically appropriate, theoretically sound, culturally sensitive, and trauma-informed interventions.
- Maintain timely and clinically appropriate documentation of all services provided.
- Participate in regularly scheduled supervisory team meetings and trainings.
Requirements:
- Graduate degree in Social Work, Professional Clinical Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
- Clinical license or license eligible (registered with BBS).
- Fluency in Spanish is required.
- HR clearance required, including TB test, and Department of Justice Live Scan Fingerprint clearance.
- Valid CA Driver's license, working car, proof of auto insurance.
