Position Summary: We are currently in search of a Personal Assistant for our Memory Care unit. Candidates with a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license are preferred for these full-time or part-time roles, which entail 8-hour shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide companionship and supportive listening to our assisted living and memory care residents while assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Monitor and report any changes in residents' health and status, maintaining daily documentation to track progress.
- Support residents in memory and performance enhancement programs.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties as needed.
- Assist with dining services as directed by the leadership team.
- Engage residents in activities that promote happiness and well-being.
Qualifications:
- A genuine desire to serve others with compassion.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is preferred, subject to state requirements.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Experience with older adults is preferred.
