Medical Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at LCMC Health. As a Medical Assistant, you will provide clinical and non-clinical support to our physicians and mid-level providers, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical support, including vital sign measurement, patient preparation, and laboratory specimen collection.
- Assist with patient arrival, scheduling, and departure, ensuring a seamless experience.
- Respond to emergencies and adhere to organizational policy and procedure.
- Maintain accurate patient medical records and navigate electronic medical records.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Knowledge of general medical terminology, hospital policies, and procedures.
- Basic computer and data entry skills, including MS Office applications.
