Healthcare Informatics Specialist

Mosaik Medical is a leading healthcare organization that prioritizes innovation and patient-centered care. We are seeking a skilled Nurse Informatics Specialist to join our team and contribute to the development and implementation of our electronic medical record (EMR) system.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with Clinical Leadership: Partner with the Medical Director, Informatics and Director, Technology and Clinical Informatics to optimize the effectiveness of health information technology in clinical workflows.
- Expertise in Epic Systems: Serve as the clinical expert and consultant on Epic issues, providing guidance on Epic procedures for clinical and non-clinical staff.
- Analysis and Improvement: Utilize current trends, relevant theory, evidence-based practice, quality improvement, safety, and regulatory standards to identify and analyze problem areas in clinical programs or practice.
- Informatics Knowledge: Incorporate clinical informatics knowledge and strategies to initiate change in clinical practices and workflows to optimize the continuous adoption and utilization of the EMR.
- Training and Support: Develop and deliver training programs for clinical applications and practice management software, creating guides, operating manuals, and testing materials as needed.
- Ongoing Support: Provide ongoing support of health information systems as needed in support of projects and program initiatives.
- Healthcare Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of healthcare practices.
- Critical Thinking: Critical thinking skills to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions.
- Active Learning: Ability to understand the implications of new information for current and future problem-solving.
- Systems Analysis: Determining how a system should work and how changes will affect outcomes.
- Education Curriculum: Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design.
- Reporting: Knowledge of data analysis and reporting tools needed for healthcare applications.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements affecting care processes.
