Administrative Paralegal Opportunity

Forrest Solutions is seeking an experienced Administrative Paralegal to support our team in Greensboro, NC. As an Administrative Paralegal, you will play a critical role in providing administrative support to our attorneys, ensuring the smooth operation of our litigation practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, file, and serve court documents via mail or electronic filing systems.
  • Review and proofread motions, briefs, and other court papers prior to filing.
  • Draft court papers, including motions, proposed orders, and certificates of service.
  • Maintain litigation case files according to attorney protocols and case management systems.
  • Assist in managing large litigation databases and participate in preparation for depositions, court proceedings, and trials.
  • Create and organize materials for hearings, such as casebooks and briefing binders.
  • Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and maintain a diary for court dates.
  • Open, maintain, and close client files, handle client contact, and maintain attorney credit card reconciliations.
Requirements:
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyze and synthesize information from various sources and present findings clearly.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently.
Qualifying Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Paralegal certification preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience as a paralegal or legal administrative assistant in a law firm or corporate legal department.
  • Strong understanding of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation; familiarity with state and federal court systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, legal research tools, and document management systems.
