Duck River Electric Membership Corporation is a vital entity that significantly contributes to the quality of life in the communities it serves.

With a customer base exceeding 23,000 electric meters and an extensive network of over 5,800 miles of power lines, Duck River Electric plays a crucial role in the energy landscape.

Employing approximately 80 staff members, the organization stands as one of the more prominent rural electric systems in the region. The governance structure is led by an elected board of directors, representing the interests of the community.

The headquarters of Duck River Electric is strategically located, with service centers distributed across various locations to ensure efficient service delivery. The corporation procures electricity from established suppliers and distributes it to its customer base, with a significant portion of revenue derived from residential and agricultural electricity sales.

MISSION:
Our mission is to provide safe, reliable, and affordable power through effective technology to meet the evolving needs of our customers.
