This position is contingent upon contract award. Amentum is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to support an upcoming INSCOM G-4 Global Intelligence Logistics and Engineering (GILE) Support contract.

These services will support tactical, operational, and strategic intelligence units, personnel, and their ground and aerial intelligence equipment and operations facilities and infrastructure, which may occur from multiple locations simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize troubleshooting techniques to determine exact problems and tackle them accordingly.
  • Exhibit good mechanical skills to handle equipment to avoid causing injuries to self and others on the ground.
  • Ability to communicate system problems to both co-workers and management for proper understanding.
  • Knowledge of the fundamentals of engineering technician work, including electrical, carpentry, painting, concrete, plumbing, welding, and drywall.
  • Ability to evaluate computer-related work orders in an accurate manner.

Requirements:

  • Must possess a U.S. government Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility (TS/SCI). Some positions may require a polygraph.
  • Vocational or High School Diploma or equivalent, and at least seven (7) years of experience as a General Maintenance Mechanic.
