  • Build Strong Relationships: Develop and maintain effective working relationships with Plant Managers, Supervisors, and production staff to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
  • HR and Safety Support: Provide comprehensive support to the HR and Safety teams, including onboarding, training, policy compliance, and administration.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Assist in maintaining compliance with regulatory agencies and safety audits, and identify and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks.
  • Data Management: Utilize corporate EHS systems to manage data, track metrics, and maintain compliance records.
  • Employee Engagement: Foster a safe and healthy work environment by promoting employee engagement initiatives, including recognition and celebrations.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the HR and Safety teams, including data entry and office tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Certifications: HR or safety certifications are a plus.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a Human Resources role, with experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Skills: Familiarity with HR and safety systems (ATS, HRIS, EHS), timekeeping, and payroll. Strong conflict resolution skills and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficient with Microsoft Office and comfortable presenting to groups.
