Job Summary:

The Human Resources Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the HR team at Patient First. This dynamic individual will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including phone screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and updating applicant information in the HRIS. Additionally, the HR Assistant will conduct reference checks, assist with onboarding new staff, and record meeting minutes. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality. Key Responsibilities:

• Phone screening assigned candidates and scheduling interviews
• Updating applicant information in the HRIS as needed
• Conducting reference checks and verifying candidate information
• Assisting with preparation for onboarding new staff, including completing necessary paperwork and setting up new employees with company systems
• Recording minutes for assigned meetings and distributing to relevant parties
• Preparing items for mailing as directed and processing name badge orders
• Completing projects as assigned and using equipment as trained
• Reviewing the department's email and voicemail, forwarding messages as needed, and documenting messages on the Human Resources Call Log
• Sending birthday cards to employees and maintaining filing and purging of documents as directed
• Ordering and maintaining department supplies and ensuring a well-stocked office environment

Requirements:

• High school graduate or equivalent; bachelor's degree with a focus on Human Resources or a related field a plus
• Excellent data entry skills and ability to work with confidential information
• Ability to communicate in a professional and positive manner, both verbally and in writing
• Knowledge of software applications such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Minimum of one year clerical experience preferred; Patient First experience a plus
