Lead Logistics Sales Professional

This is a remote position offering an exciting opportunity to drive sales growth and success in a dynamic supply chain environment.
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team at Legacy Supply Chain, a 40-year-old multi-national company with a growing omnichannel supply chain business valued at $400MM. As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving new business sales with a hunter mentality and a consultative sales approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to identify, target, and acquire new clients.
- Conduct market research to stay up-to-date on industry trends, identify potential clients, and build a strong sales pipeline.
- Employ a consultative approach to assess client needs, address pain points, and communicate the value proposition.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to secure profitable business.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree and 2-3 years of experience in transportation industry brokerage new business development or a combination of education and experience that includes:
- A deep understanding of the logistics landscape.
- A proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- A hunter mentality and passion for prospecting and generating new business.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking abilities.
