Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will serve as the primary project coordinator, overseeing the planning, execution, and successful completion of control systems initiatives for designated clients. You will assign tasks as necessary to ensure the thorough execution of projects, which encompass hardware design, system programming, installation management, system and network commissioning, and project finalization. You will be accountable for the overall financial performance of the projects you manage, including budgeting, invoicing, and revenue collection. Striking a balance between client satisfaction and project profitability is essential. You will actively seek opportunities for additional project work through change orders and maintain open lines of communication with clients throughout all project stages. You will also ensure the proper handling of warranty obligations.

Execution Strategy

  • Directs the work of subcontractors, electrical installers, technicians, designers, and administrative staff as needed.
  • Ensures compliance with all applicable state, local, and federal regulations while upholding the highest ethical standards on the job.
  • Promotes and enforces safety protocols among Johnson Controls personnel and subcontractors.

Qualifications

Essential Requirements

  • A technical associate degree coupled with two years of practical experience in the field, or four years of equivalent experience in the building automation sector, particularly in programming control panels, ideally for HVAC systems.
  • Proven experience in project management.
  • Ability to convey technical concepts to individuals without a technical background.
  • Demonstrated capability to work autonomously.
  • Proficient digital skills.
