Position Overview


This is an exciting opportunity to lead the Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO) overseeing Intelligent Transportation Systems initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee comprehensive project management, including team supervision, deliverables, and resolution of critical reporting and project challenges.
- Interpret organizational policies, procedures, and objectives.
- Manage the development and implementation of governance policies and operational procedures for the EPMO.
- Ensure compliance with standards and oversee the delivery of contractual obligations.
- Supervise and manage personnel within the ITS JPO EPMO team, consisting of 10 full-time employees across various specialized teams.
- Provide program and project management support, ensuring accountability and responsibility.
- Monitor quality standards and manage the submission of all contractual deliverables.
- Prepare and deliver briefings and presentations to all organizational levels, from team members to executive leadership.
- Facilitate all meetings and communications between the EPMO contract support team and stakeholders.
- Develop and execute program governance, policies, and procedures for the EPMO.
- Oversee software project development utilizing Agile methodologies, ensuring adherence to Agile principles and high-quality deliverables.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, clearly communicating project goals, progress, and challenges.
- Foster collaboration and promote a culture of continuous improvement.Required Qualifications


- Minimum of 15 years of program management experience, preferably within a PMO environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- PMI PMP Certification.
- Extensive knowledge of Agile development frameworks and methodologies.
- Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to inspire a diverse team.
- Excellent communication skills, particularly with non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications


- Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 20 years of relevant experience.
- Agile Certifications.
