Our 5 North unit is a 38-bed facility that provides comprehensive care to a diverse range of medical, surgical, and chronically ill patients. We specialize in the management of diabetes and renal failure, and our team is equipped to care for patients who require telemetry and oximetry monitoring.

Scope of WorkAs a Registered Nurse on our 5 North unit, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care under the direction of our Nurse Leader. You will utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, while also partnering with patients and their families to develop personalized care plans.
You will be expected to work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care that meets the unique needs of each patient. You will also be responsible for documenting patient education and learning in the health record, and for developing teaching strategies that promote patient engagement and empowerment.
