About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join Diverse Lynx LLC as a Pre-Production Hardware Engineer.

You will be responsible for managing pre-production hardware from multiple partners, including physically receiving shipments, inspecting for damages, and installing in the lab.

The ideal candidate will have experience with inventory management and handling, as well as knowledge of CPU and server platforms, VMKernel, IO drivers, user space, monitor, VSAN, NSX, and performance teams.

You will work closely with partner teams to install firmware and upgrades, debug/triage issues, and maintain lab infrastructure.

We are looking for a highly skilled individual who can handle sensitive and expensive pre-production samples, ensure compliance to safety and ESD guidelines, and maintain strict access within labs to avoid exposure to other partners' hardware.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage pre-production hardware from multiple partners
  • Inspect shipments for damages and install in the lab
  • Support multiple engineering teams across various scenarios
  • Work with partner teams to install firmware and upgrades
  • Maintain lab infrastructure, including switches, racks, and infrastructure software

Requirements

  • 6-8 years of experience in IT infrastructure and hardware management
  • Strong knowledge of CPU and server platforms, VMKernel, IO drivers, user space, monitor, VSAN, NSX, and performance teams
  • Experience with inventory management and handling
  • Ability to work in a high-touch unstable hardware/software environment
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
