The Role
We're seeking an experienced Senior Technical Director of Hardware Engineering to join our team. As a key member of our hardware R&D organization, you will be responsible for setting technical direction for our products, leading cross-functional teams through all phases of product development, driving system-level technical decisions, and spearheading risk identification and mitigation activities.

Responsibilities
You will own the end-to-end delivery of all aspects of hardware engineering to enable multiple new products and programs. You will create strategic and tactical plans to achieve organizational goals and lead cross-functional teams through their day-to-day operations to achieve those goals. You will provide 'voice-of-function' in cross-functional decision-making, maintain linkages to functional areas to ensure application of best practices, policies, business processes, etc., and balance technical requirements with project cost, timeline, and scope.

Requirements
Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and a minimum of 13+ years related experience or a Master's degree and 8+ years equivalent industry experience. Industry-leading expertise in one or more hardware engineering domains, demonstrated ability to lead highly technical multi-disciplinary engineering teams, proven track record in managing and executing through all stages of product development life cycle, and excellent communication skills are essential.
