Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Specialist - Hardware Applications to join our team at Qualcomm.

About the Role:

This is a senior-level position that requires expertise in hardware applications engineering. As a Senior Technical Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical guidance and support to customers and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical expertise on hardware applications and solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess customer needs and develop solutions
  • Design, debug, test, and quality support of customer products
  • Train customers on product usage and troubleshooting

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in hardware applications engineering or hardware design
  • OR Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of experience
  • OR PhD in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in hardware applications engineering or hardware design
  • Familiarity with Principals of High Speed Signal Design including transmission lines, controlled impedance and EMI/EMC
  • Familiarity with interfaces such as LPDDR, MIPI, USB, PCIe, UFS
  • Experience with Programming Languages such as Python and/or Vbasic

Salary: $103,600.00 - $155,400.00 per annum
