Position Overview

Noble Biomaterials, Inc. stands at the forefront of antimicrobial and conductivity innovations tailored for soft surface applications. We specialize in advanced material technologies based on silver, catering to critical sectors such as performance apparel, healthcare, industrial applications, and the emerging wearable technology market.

We are currently in search of a Fabric Production Supervisor. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in driving the success of our operations by managing all facets of fabric production while gaining a comprehensive understanding of the entire fabric manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Production Engineering and Quality Assurance teams to build a workforce adept at meeting specific fabric requirements and custom fabric solutions.
  • Oversee the production workflow for customized fabrics, ensuring compliance with specifications, quality benchmarks, and delivery timelines.
  • Establish standard operating procedures and devise strategies for the optimal utilization of materials, machinery, financial resources, and personnel.
  • Implement lean manufacturing methodologies and engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Encourage a culture of teamwork and collaboration within the manufacturing department and across other organizational units.
  • Propose innovative fabric solutions that contribute to process enhancements and bolster market competitiveness.
  • Formulate and manage cost-effective strategies for customized fabrics, focusing on improvements in sensitizing, metalizing, and inspection processes.
  • Engage in ongoing equipment optimization efforts aimed at elevating quality, boosting production rates, and minimizing waste.
  • Recommend enhancements to production techniques, equipment functionality, and product quality.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external fabric customers.
  • Provide leadership in nurturing and developing team members to reach their full potential.
  • Design training programs for production staff and ensure timely performance evaluations for both direct reports and hourly employees.
  • Execute additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 10 years in manufacturing, specifically in production operations and process engineering.

Skills: Proficiency in lean manufacturing principles and practices. Strong computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and Project Management Software.

Work Environment: Regularly work near moving mechanical components and occasionally in environments with fumes, airborne particles, or hazardous chemicals. Use of protective equipment such as safety glasses, ear protection, and safety footwear may be required.
