Clinical Nurse Educator RN

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse Educator to join our team at Select Medical. As a Clinical Nurse Educator, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing formal and informal training programs for newly graduated Registered Nurses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement training programs for newly graduated RNs
- Assist with general orientation and charge nurse development
- Teach content within clinical expertise to facilitate orientation and ongoing clinical staff development
- Plan, prepare, and maintain materials for educational programs
- Serve as a nursing staff preceptor/mentor
- Participate in identifying learning needs of nursing staff
- Communicate effectively with staff and management regarding educational needs and offerings
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university
- Valid Registered Nurse license in state of employment
- Recent critical care, step down, or telemetry experience
- Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of adult instructional methods and theories, learning concepts, and evaluation
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Three to five (3-5) years clinical experience with precepting and charge nurse experience
- Previous experience in Nurse Education
- CCRN preferred
