We are seeking a highly experienced registered nurse to join our team as a Clinical Resource and Education Nurse. This role will involve working with newly hired nurses to facilitate and evaluate their learning during their first year of employment.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of pediatric experience and a Master's degree in nursing or a related field. They will be responsible for fostering safe and competent practice, strengthening confidence in the clinical arena, and building trusting relationships with teammates, physicians, and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acts as a resource for accessing policies and procedures
- Facilitates completion of the initial competencies' checklist
- Responds to phone calls within 15 minutes
- Maintains competence to provide and/or assist with clinical care
Requirements:
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the single State of Georgia or Multi-State through the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact
- BLS certification required
- PEARS or PALS Certification required
- Professional Nursing Certification deemed by department required upon one year of hire
