Job Summary

Cayuga Health System is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Services Representative to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Check in patients upon arrival and verify/update patient demographics
  • Collect outstanding balances and co-pays, and assist with additional scheduling as needed
  • Take messages and triage phone calls, ensuring timely and effective communication
  • Utilize Medent and Microsoft Office to manage patient records and schedules
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college-level training/education in a healthcare support field preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong computer skills, with experience using EMRs and other healthcare software
Work Environment

This role is based at Cayuga Primary Care Ithaca Mall, 40 Catherwood Rd, Ithaca. The successful candidate will be required to work in a dynamic and patient-centered environment, with a focus on delivering exceptional care and service.

Compensation and Benefits

Cayuga Health System offers a competitive salary range of $19.50 to $23.00 per hour, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
