Key Responsibilities- Prepare commercial and residential properties for new construction by completing grading tasks.
- Operate heavy equipment such as graders, trucks, power cranes, and shovels to move rocks, dirt, and other materials.
- Use basic tools safely and properly, including bulldozers, grading rakes, rollers, back hoes, and wheelbarrows.
- Follow project plans, material lists, and guidelines to ensure high-quality results.
- Maintain a clean and safe work site, including proper maintenance and care of company equipment.
- Work in a safe manner and report any unsafe conditions to the Maintenance/Construction Operations Manager.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the grading industry (preferred).
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to perform all aspects of landscape tasks in a safe manner.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks.
This role requires working in outdoor conditions with extended hours during peak seasons. You will be exposed to extreme heat and cold, loud noise, and potential hazards such as air pollution, allergens, dust, pollen, insects, and sharp objects.
