Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance customer satisfaction by ensuring an exceptional shopping experience.
  • Lead a team of Associates at the front end, fostering a culture of prompt and courteous service.
  • Set a positive example by actively engaging with customers and maintaining a well-organized store.
  • Uphold a standard of honesty and integrity while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Participate in the training and development of Associates, focusing on customer engagement and loyalty initiatives.
  • Manage register assignments and coordinate breaks for team members to ensure seamless operations.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly to maintain a positive shopping atmosphere.
  • Ensure that Associates complete tasks in alignment with store objectives, adjusting priorities as necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with management and team members regarding priorities and progress.
  • Encourage a culture of recognition and constructive feedback among team members.
  • Collaborate with management to identify training needs for Associates to enhance performance.
  • Adhere to all labor laws, policies, and procedures.
  • Promote and support credit and loyalty programs.
  • Contribute to initiatives aimed at reducing store shrinkage.
  • Maintain a safe shopping environment by promoting safety awareness.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Flexible availability, including nights and weekends.
  • Strong knowledge of merchandising strategies.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Adaptable to changes in direction and unexpected challenges.
  • Team-oriented, working collaboratively with peers and supervisors.
  • Experience in training others.
  • Minimum of 1 year in retail and 6 months in a leadership role.
