Highly Skilled Cardiac Anesthesiologist and Intensivist Wanted for New CVICU

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Anesthesiologist and Intensivist to join our team at Virginia Mason Medical Center in downtown Seattle. This exciting opportunity will allow you to work collaboratively with our Advanced Heart Failure, Structural Heart, and Cardiothoracic Surgery teams to care for our growing Cardiovascular Service Line patient population.
Job Responsibilities:- Support the growth of a new Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)
- Support the growth of a Mechanical Cardiac Support program, including both an established ECMCO program and a new VAD program
The ideal candidate will have experience in advanced cardiovascular care and be passionate about delivering high-quality patient care. You will be working closely with a collaborative team of healthcare professionals, including physician leadership, Advanced Practice Providers, and other clinical team members.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Completion of a residency program in anesthesiology
- Board certification in anesthesiology
- Ability to obtain a medical professional license in the State of Washington
- Ability to obtain a DEA with full prescriptive authority needed for specific practice
- Certification in Advanced Perioperative Transesophageal Echocardiography
