About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Parkside Market/Downtown Disney. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our team members are upholding our hospitality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Guest Experience
- Maintain positive guest relationships through regular feedback and execution of show-quality standards
- Train and convey brand clarity through menu, wine, and beverage knowledge
- Team Management
- Promote a positive work environment through hiring and selection of team members, maximizing productivity and morale through team member engagement, and maintaining appropriate staffing levels per business needs
- Train and develop team members according to Levy guidelines
- Financial Management
- Engage in financial goals of the operation with support from the General Manager
- Execute required daily reporting in a timely manner
- Inventory and Safety
- Execute inventory controls
- Ensure team members adhere to Levy guidelines as stated in the team member training manual and employee handbook
- Menu and Service
- Ensure all menu requirements are executed and guest-specific service requests are fulfilled
- Ensure all function setups and breakdowns are executed correctly, efficiently, and expeditiously
- Performance Management
- Hold team accountable to steps of service to deliver great guest service
- Use all performance management tools to provide guidance and feedback to team members
- Communication
- Conduct regularly scheduled meetings to ensure lines of communication are open between management and team members
- Experience
- 5+ years of experience in a food and beverage operational position
- Education
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management is preferred
- Skills
- High level of computer literacy
- Passion for hospitality, food, and retail
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
