Petco Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Operations Specialist - Omni Channel to join our team at Petco. As an Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient execution of all Omni channel processes, including Ship from Store (SFS) operations, to ensure consistency with product picking, packaging, and shipping in the Pet Care Center.
Key Responsibilities- Supports the effective and efficient operations across the Pet Care Center.
- Assist in completion of daily SFS picking, packing, and shipping.
- Assist with the unloading and stocking of merchandise and supplies according to operational guidelines.
- Process register transactions in a way that creates a great experience for each guest.
- Be proficient within our selling model and support guest interactions as needed.
- Adhere to and promote established safety procedures.
- Perform routine housekeeping tasks as required to maintain the professional image and appearance of the Pet Care Center.
- Participate in the completion of quarterly and annual physical inventory counts.
- Complete Omni Channel and SFS projects following policies and procedures.
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent work experience.
- A qualified applicant will be required to demonstrate proficiency in the areas of mathematics and above-average communication skills.
- In addition to having a professional appearance and demeanor, applicants must also demonstrate a keen and genuine interest in animals and their care.
- Good interpersonal and verbal communication skills are necessary due to the nature of interaction with the public and other partners and leaders within the store.
