Job Title: Branch Coverage Specialist

At TwinStar Credit Union, we are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Branch Coverage Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our branch network, you will provide exceptional service to our members while assisting with critical staffing needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle escalated member requests and inquiries, utilizing advanced problem-solving skills to negotiate amicable outcomes.
  • Engage members and visitors through authentic interactions, assessing their needs, and recommending appropriate products and services.
  • Maintain complete records, track progress, and seek new opportunities for learning using internal tools.
  • Process loan applications, open new accounts, and perform other member service processes while uncovering additional needs.
  • Handle IRA's, Trust Accounts, and Business Accounts, offering payment protection and explaining debt cancellation options.
  • Follow up with members to help them build wealth and deepen relationships.
  • Serve as a role model of branch leadership, mentoring, training, and inspiring fellow team members.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for new organizational initiatives and assist in training new systems and processes across the branch network.
  • Participate in community involvement events.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • A minimum of two years' experience in a related field, including exposure to sales, service, cash handling, consumer loans, residential, business services, and operations in a credit union or other financial institution.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with members to identify needs and cross-sell products and services.
  • Must be fully proficient in all credit union systems and applicable hardware.
  • Must be able to be NMLS and Notary Certified.
Benefits:

This position is eligible for Full-Time Regular benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage, as well as access to a 401k plan and paid time off. Employees accrue vacation and sick leave, and receive paid holidays and volunteer time.

All benefits except 401k start the first of the month after 30 days of employment. Employees become eligible to contribute to 401k on the first of the month following 60 days of employment.
