As an Instructional Designer at United Wholesale Mortgage, you will play a critical role in developing training content that supports our company's mission to make home ownership possible for more Americans. You will work closely with our Training team and business leaders to design and develop training programs that meet the needs of our teams and learners.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Training team members and business leaders to develop training that meets the needs of the company, teams, and learners
  • Design and develop Initial, Ongoing, and Continuous Improvement training for various roles throughout the organization
  • Create assessment tools to measure learning, knowledge retention, and performance
  • Seek training evaluation and feedback to continuously improve training programs and material
  • Develop learning management content including technology announcements, surveys, and more
  • Provide feedback to Training team members to support the improvement of content creation and facilitation
  • Analyze metrics to identify training opportunities
  • Act as a backup to trainers for facilitating Initial, Ongoing, and Continuous Improvement training for various roles, if needed

Qualifications:

  • 1-year of experience in the design/development of training materials
  • 6 Months of experience in computer-based training design/development
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization
  • Ability to explain complex information in clear, concise terms
  • Strong collaboration with team members and business leaders
  • Must be detail-oriented
  • Results-oriented, with the ability to complete assignments on time and manage multiple priorities concurrently
  • Maintain a positive attitude and exude confidence
  • Actively seek coaching and feedback
  • Exceptional work ethic, customer service, and interpersonal skills
  • Approach tasks and projects with a Yes Mentality
