**Job Summary**

At Swift Transportation, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transportation Operations Manager to lead our fleet of drivers and maximize productivity. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing high-performing drivers, managing driver availability, and proactively managing safety performance to achieve insurance and claims cost targets.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Lead a fleet of 10+ drivers and manage driver availability to maximize productivity.
  • Routinely review profit and loss statements for assigned areas and find ways to maximize profitability.
  • Develop high-performing drivers through daily interactions, coaching, and positive reinforcement.
  • Meet driver home time expectations by actively managing expectations and keeping commitments.
  • Maximize profit and loss for all assigned tractors and trailers.
  • Proactively manage safety performance to achieve insurance and claims cost targets.

**Requirements:**

  • 2+ years' experience in operations, planning, and/or customer accounts.
  • Associate's degree in business or related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • Ability to lead others and possess exceptional communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in high-pressure situations in a fast-paced environment.
