Radar Receiver Exciter Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Radar Receiver Exciter Engineer to join our team at Raytheon Careers. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating complex radar systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Resolve complex technical issues in radar receiver and exciter subsystems.
  • Analyze and process radar receiver/exciter data to identify and resolve system performance issues.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years' of prior work experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years' of prior work experience.
  • Experience with radar receiver/exciter system and subsystem analysis, design, and/or test.
  • U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with RF chain design and analysis.
  • Experience with IQ/signal processing analysis in Matlab, C/C++, Python, or other programming languages.
  • Experience in troubleshooting radar systems, root cause identification, corrective action implementation, and associated documentation.
