{"Job Title": "Commissioning Manager", "Job Summary": "Thor Companies is seeking a skilled Commissioning Manager to oversee the commissioning process for our projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in commissioning management, with experience in managing commissioning activities from Level 1 to 5.

Responsibilities:

* Manage commissioning activities, including planning, coordination, and execution
* Develop and implement quality control plans and commissioning activities
* Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and engineering teams to ensure efficient project delivery
* Facilitate start-up and commissioning meetings to discuss quality control plans and schedule updates
* Help develop project-specific quality control/commissioning plans
* Establish and manage punch list prevention plans and related commissioning deficiencies
* Arrange and manage testing and inspections, analyze and report results
* Participate in quality and commissioning-related onboarding of new project staff, trade partners, and vendors

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or relevant equivalent
* Minimum 5+ years of management experience (does not need to be directly in commissioning management)
* Minimum 5+ years of commissioning experience
* Minimum 4+ years of data center experience
* Good understanding of MEP commissioning systems
* In-depth understanding of commissioning activities associated with MEP systems for data center commissioning Levels 1 through 5
* Experience with BMS systems
* Ability to interpret contract documents, owner project requirements, drawings, specifications, system schematics, sequence of operations, MEP scopes of work, and project schedule

Physical Demands:

* Requirement of physical ability to climb permanent/temporary stairs (site-based) and climb/use ladders
* Work will be located on both site and office locations
* Required regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally move up to 45 pounds
