Position: Building Engineer
Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled building engineer to support a Class-A office park in a dynamic area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver outstanding customer service to both internal and external clients.
- Conduct repairs on doors, ceilings, hand railings, floors, and perform various general maintenance tasks.
- Handle plumbing repairs including water closets, urinals, and lavatories.
- Execute preventive maintenance routines.
- Replace lamps and light fixtures as needed.
- Troubleshoot and repair essential building systems.
- Perform regular quality control inspections.
- Establish and maintain cleaning schedules for various areas including sidewalks and parking lots.
- Assist with structural repairs and respond to maintenance requests.
- Oversee and manage the card access system.
- Address punch list items related to tenant improvements.
- Ensure functionality of emergency exit signs and lights, and maintain clear access to emergency exits.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and tenant concerns.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in managing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within a commercial environment.
- Proficient in the operation, maintenance, and basic repair of HVAC systems, boilers, and plumbing fixtures.
- Basic computer skills are required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as climbing and stooping.
- Regularly required to crouch and reach to install or move equipment.
