Job Summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a skilled and proactive Building Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various systems within a commercial property, including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, life safety systems, and more.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and troubleshoot A.C. circuits and related safety procedures.
  • Reset breakers and repair outlets, switches, lighting ballasts, and circuit breakers.
  • Implement and follow lock-out tag-out procedures.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot DDC devices in a commercial setting.
  • Conduct minor preventative maintenance on AHUs and respond to HVAC service calls.
  • Inspect and log chiller operations, making necessary adjustments.
  • Replace belts, motors, bearings, and other HVAC components.
  • Adjust set points within the building's energy management system.
Life Safety Systems
  • Operate and maintain the building's life safety systems.
  • Respond to fire alarms, conduct weekly inspections of emergency generators and fire pumps.
  • Ensure proper operation of all life safety equipment.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in building maintenance, with a focus on electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
  • Knowledge of DDC devices and energy management systems in commercial buildings.
  • Familiarity with life safety systems and relevant safety protocols.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and wiring diagrams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Salary: $54,000.00 to $62,000.00 per year
