Job Summary

The Assistant/Associate Dean of Students at Touro University Nevada will provide strategic leadership and oversight for a broad range of student services and programs that promote student development, engagement, and success. This role requires collaboration with faculty, staff, and students to foster a supportive and inclusive campus environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and administer all testing services, ensuring compliance with governing regulations.
  • Develop and implement programs that promote student engagement, leadership, and development.
  • Provide oversight for student organizations, activities, and events, ensuring they contribute to a vibrant campus life.
  • Plan and coordinate Student Orientation events.
  • Address student concerns and grievances, working to resolve issues in a fair and timely manner.
  • Administer University policies regarding Student Code of Conduct and Academic Integrity.
  • Promote a culture of inclusivity and support for a diverse student body.

Qualifications

  • A Master's degree in Higher Education Administration, Student Affairs, Counseling, or a related field is required; a Doctorate is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in student affairs or related areas in a higher education setting.
  • Demonstrated experience in leadership, staff supervision, and budget management.
  • Strong understanding of student development theories and best practices in student affairs.
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse student population.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time position, and the successful candidate will be required to work on-site at Touro University Nevada.
