Job Summary

Dollar General is seeking a skilled Production Clerk to join our team. As a key member of our distribution center, you will be responsible for tracking employee job performance and assisting with clerical functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly Distribution Productivity/Quality Reports.
  • Meet and maintain safety, quality, and productivity standards.
  • Prepare daily production reports to track employee performance.

Requirements

  • Basic math and reading skills.
  • Intermediate level computer skills; ability to use Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • One year experience using Microsoft Office software.
  • Experience in automated retail distribution center.
  • Familiarity with distribution systems.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

  • Familiarity with distribution systems.
  • Exposure to changing climatic conditions and extreme heat and cold.
  • Sitting or standing for long periods of time; walking long distances.
  • Bending, stooping, squatting, or kneeling on a repetitive basis.
  • Fast-paced environment.
