Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Representative to join our team at Sunbelt Waterproofing & Restoration, LLC. As a Business Development Representative, you will play a critical role in generating leads, developing relationships with prospects and customers, and driving sales growth.

You will be responsible for identifying target industries, researching prospective customers, and monitoring market trends to anticipate roofing needs. You will also build relationships with facility managers, maintenance managers, and purchasing personnel, and maintain communication with past and current customers to propose and sell additional services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Analysis: Conduct market analysis to identify target industries, research prospective customers, and monitor market trends to anticipate roofing needs.
  • Customer Engagement: Build relationships with facility managers, maintenance managers, and purchasing personnel, and maintain communication with past and current customers to propose and sell additional services.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth, focusing on lead generation, appointment setting, and proposal development.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team, estimators, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives and customer satisfaction.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Utilize CRM systems to track sales performance, analyze data, and provide insights to inform sales strategies and optimize results.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in B2B sales, particularly in the construction or roofing industry.
  • CRM proficiency and experience using customer relationship management software to manage customers, leads, and sales activities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to develop and maintain strong customer and vendor relationships.
  • Technical skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, with excellent organizational skills and time management abilities.
  • Adaptability and flexibility, with ability to adapt to change and unforeseen issues while maintaining professionalism.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year, based on experience.
  • Performance-based incentives tied to lead generation, appointments, and sales, with potential additional earnings ranging from $50,000 to $200,000.
