Job Overview:

The Implementation Administrator is responsible for overseeing the installation of designated accounts, which includes, but is not limited to: structuring and setting up billing, collecting eligibility information, loading databases, issuing ID cards, and preparing plan materials such as administrative documents and customer education resources. This role provides support to assigned accounts by addressing inquiries or resolving complex issues using independent judgment and discretion. The administrator may serve as a Technical Coach, offering desk-level guidance and identifying opportunities to enhance overall operational performance. Daily tasks are performed with minimal supervision, although assistance from more experienced team members is readily available. Responsibilities require forward planning and anticipation of needs or issues, as well as resolving non-routine problems escalated from junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage multiple assigned implementation projects from initial customer engagement through planning, execution, and launch phases, ensuring all key steps and stakeholders are effectively managed.
  • Act as the senior subject matter expert for both customers and team members.
  • Review, analyze, and rectify data from various sources to support new implementation initiatives.
  • Establish initial operational relationships with customers to understand their 340B programs, identify pain points, and develop clear success factors for implementation.
  • Ensure a positive onboarding experience with the software solutions, overseeing accurate customer data extraction setups, wholesaler interactions, and software configuration.
  • Provide comprehensive training on software functionalities and key customer interactions to facilitate a smooth transition to the 'live' project state and subsequent account management.
  • Facilitate proactive, timely, and thorough communication and demonstrations with customers and all stakeholders critical to the project's success.
  • Assist in training new team members and maintaining departmental documentation and educational tools.
  • Utilize project management tools diligently to ensure transparency in project status.
  • Adhere to project and procedural workflows while regularly evaluating current processes and contributing to workflow improvements based on insights and business demands.
  • Promote the values of The Cigna Group through positive interactions with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in other implementation or cross-departmental initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years in a customer-facing role involving cloud-based software technology implementation or project management, with strong knowledge of 340B or pharmacy operations.
  • Ability to remain flexible in addressing workday emergencies and critical customer issues.
  • Demonstrated professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Proven capability to analyze data issues and troubleshoot problems related to customer data and database schema.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Demonstrated interest in the success of customers and colleagues through knowledge sharing and collaboration.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to prioritize tasks and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple discrete implementation projects simultaneously.
  • Enthusiasm for ongoing learning and research related to the 340B program and associated compliance legislation.
