As a Senior Account Manager at Abbott, you'll have the opportunity to drive portfolio growth and sales objectives in assigned territories. With a strong focus on commercial selling activity, you'll influence stakeholders within hospitals, promote product utilization, and develop strategic relationships with key decision-makers.

Job Description:

This role is responsible for ensuring that assigned territories meet or exceed sales objectives and deliver profitable growth/market share expectations aligned with quarterly and annual plans. You'll work closely with Regional Sales Directors to identify market opportunities, evaluate business potential, and achieve annual sales targets.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Influence hospital stakeholders and promote product utilization across key growth categories
  • Develop and implement sales strategies by analyzing existing and potential accounts, identifying relevant factors (product, competition, pricing needs) to effectively promote company products to appropriate personnel and physicians
  • Build and maintain relationships with hospital personnel, identify key purchasing decision-makers, and facilitate sales growth through strategic partnerships
  • Maintain clinical and technical expertise through ongoing product training sessions and stay up-to-date on industry developments
  • Prepare and submit reports to sales management by analyzing data, projections, and other relevant information to ensure alignment with quarterly and annual sales objectives
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years of related work experience in the medical device industry
  • Ability to travel 50% within assigned region
Salary Information:

The estimated salary for this position is $96,200 - $194,400 per annum, based on location and industry standards.
