The Residuals Analyst within the Residuals department will play a crucial role in validating show setups and payments across various distribution channels for residuals. This position involves interpreting and applying Guild agreements, conducting tests on residual software systems, and ensuring the highest standards of work performance, product quality, reliability, efficiency, and client service. Additionally, the role supports and promotes the objectives of the Department and Company.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct ad-hoc data analysis and project support using advanced Excel functions and pivot tables to generate insightful reports.
  • Gather, interpret, and analyze data to uncover opportunities for process enhancements.
  • Verify residual show setups and payments across distribution channels for compliance with union contracts and established guidelines.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of union contract provisions, regulations, deadlines, and industry standards related to residuals, while developing proficiency in research and application in line with EP standards.
  • Provide support, guidance, coaching, and training to colleagues within the department.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned based on departmental needs.
  • Support and implement policies set forth by Department Executives, fostering unity and collaboration within the team to achieve shared goals.
  • Uphold a high level of confidentiality regarding client information and proprietary EP processes.
  • Promote EP services and products, encouraging teamwork and positive interpersonal relationships throughout the organization.

JOB REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent industry experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in an operations analyst, research analyst, or similar role.
  • 3+ years of accounting or payroll experience, preferably within the entertainment sector.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Qlik, Tableau, Salesforce) is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong mathematical skills with a high level of arithmetic knowledge.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all organizational levels.
  • Proficient in complex problem-solving, including identifying issues and evaluating options to implement effective solutions.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.

The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $85,000, commensurate with relevant experience.
