Key Responsibilities:
  • Shipping and Receiving:
    • Process incoming shipments of camera dollies and accessories, verifying accuracy and inspecting for any damages.
    • Prepare camera dollies and equipment for outgoing shipments, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
    • Create shipping labels, packing lists, and other necessary documentation.
    • Collaborate with the logistics team to coordinate pickups and deliveries with shipping carriers.
    • Maintain an organized and tidy shipping/receiving area.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Update and manage accurate records of incoming and outgoing inventory using our inventory management system.
    • Conduct regular stock audits to ensure inventory accuracy and report any discrepancies to the supervisor.
    • Monitor stock levels and notify management when replenishment is necessary.
  • Customer Service:
    • Assist customers with pickups and returns, ensuring a positive and professional experience.
    • Respond to customer inquiries regarding shipping status, tracking information, and product availability.
    • Provide product information and guidance to customers as needed.
    • Actively listen to customer needs and resolve any issues or concerns with empathy.
  • Vehicle Operation and Maintenance:
    • Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport camera dollies and equipment to various client locations and production sets.
    • Pick up and deliver manufacturing parts and supplies.
    • Adhere to all traffic and safety regulations while driving and ensure the proper loading and securing of equipment in the vehicle.
    • Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks, such as oil levels, tire pressure, and cleanliness.
  • General Support:
    • Collaborate with the warehouse team to maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
    • Assist with equipment assembly, disassembly, and quality checks as needed.
    • Utilize computer skills for data entry, inventory tracking, and communication with team members.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Previous experience in shipping/receiving, inventory management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting and moving heavy camera equipment.
  • Familiarity with camera dollies and related film equipment is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, showcasing strong interpersonal skills.
  • Computer proficiency for data entry and utilizing inventory management systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends based on business needs.
