Position Overview
The Residuals Analyst within the Residuals department plays a crucial role in ensuring accurate verification of show setups and payments across various distribution markets. This position involves interpreting and applying Guild agreements, testing residual software systems, and maintaining high standards of performance, product quality, and client service.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct ad-hoc data analysis and provide project support using advanced Excel formulas and pivot tables to create insightful reports.
- Gather, interpret, and analyze data to pinpoint opportunities for process enhancements.
- Verify residual show setups and payments for compliance with union contracts and established guidelines.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of union contract provisions, regulations, and industry standards related to residuals.
- Offer support, guidance, and training to colleagues within the department.
- Execute additional duties as required by departmental needs.
- Promote and implement policies set forth by Department Executives while fostering teamwork and collaboration.
- Uphold a high level of confidentiality regarding client information and proprietary company data.
- Advocate for EP services and products, fostering positive relationships across the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent industry experience.
- Minimum of 3 years in an operations analyst role or a related field.
- At least 3 years of accounting or payroll experience, preferably in the entertainment sector.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Familiarity with business intelligence tools (e.g., Qlik, Tableau, Salesforce) is a plus.
- Strong mathematical skills with a solid understanding of arithmetic applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to identify complex problems and develop effective solutions.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.

The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $85,000, commensurate with experience.
