Position Overview: Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team in Orlando, FL.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-process and final evaluations on electrical, electronic, electromechanical, electro-optical, and various mechanical systems, including composite and integrated systems.
  • Verify functionality in alignment with established company and client specifications, potentially presenting findings for client certification and acceptance prior to dispatch.
  • Utilize computer applications for engineering documentation management to facilitate inspection planning and approval processes.
  • Adhere to work instructions and modifications.
  • Employ a range of inspection tools and gauges to ensure thorough evaluations.
  • Identify and reject non-conforming products, collaborating with manufacturing and quality engineering to enhance rework processes.
  • Authorize or otherwise validate systems and integrated systems as satisfactory, secure client approval, and maintain necessary documentation and records.
The selected candidate must be available to work various shifts, including 1st, 2nd, 3rd, weekend 3x12, or split shifts, in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in Inspection and/or Quality Assurance.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a security clearance.
  • Willingness to work various shifts as per the collective bargaining agreement.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Experience with soldering and cable & harness assembly.
  • Ability to read and interpret work instructions and specifications.
  • Strong communication skills to follow instructions clearly.
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Manufacturing and Quality systems and processes.
  • Knowledge of SAP systems.
  • IPC J-STD 001 Certification.
  • IPC WHMA-A 620B Wire Harness Certification.
  • Prior inspection experience with military or aerospace components.
Security Clearance Requirement: This role necessitates a government security clearance; candidates must be U.S. Citizens for consideration.

Work Environment: This position requires on-site work at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
