Position Summary: The Aviation Maintenance Quality Inspector is responsible for upholding the highest standards of inspection and compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations and manufacturer guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct thorough inspections of aircraft and components, ensuring all work meets Cessna's quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  2. Maintain an up-to-date repository of FAA specifications, certificate data sheets, and airworthiness directives.
  3. Perform regular checks on tools and calibration of precision testing equipment as per the Overhaul Manuals and FAA Repair Station Manuals.
  4. Inspect and accept incoming materials, including new and repaired parts, in accordance with quality and repair station protocols.
  5. Ensure proper tagging and identification of all components throughout the maintenance process.
  6. Review inspection records and procedures for adherence to quality standards.
  7. Utilize various technical publications, including Textron and Vendor Maintenance Manuals, to support inspection activities.
  8. Familiarize oneself with Required Inspection Item (RII) requirements and the Master Equipment List (MEL).
  9. Conduct periodic aircraft walkaround surveys to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
  10. Organize and maintain inspection files and completed work orders for efficient review.

Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent is required, along with an A&P License. A minimum of three years of diverse A&P mechanic experience, particularly with jet and turboprop aircraft, is essential.
