Licensing Manager

Nourison Home is seeking a highly skilled Licensing Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of the company's licensing activities. This role involves identifying new licensing opportunities, negotiating and securing licensing agreements, and managing relationships with licensors.
Key Responsibilities- Develop a strategic plan for building Nourison Home's brand licensing business, identifying potential licensing partners and opportunities to expand the company's product offerings or brand reach.
- Be the primary point of contact for day-to-day interaction with licensors, negotiating licensing agreements and ensuring compliance with all legal requirements.
- Work closely with the Licensing and Marketing teams to ensure that each licensed brand has a clear role within its respective category(s) and a plan for long-term development.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Creative Services teams to translate licensor graphic guidelines, developing licensor-approved style guides and assets.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends and assess the potential of new licensing opportunities, providing insights and recommendations based on market data.
- Responsible for coordinating inputs from Finance, Marketing, and product development teams in developing regular business reviews with key licensing partners and for sharing the outcome of such meetings with the broader organization.
- Lead and Manage contract licensing requirements throughout the organization, ensuring compliance and providing regular reporting as required.
- Engage the Customer Service & Quality teams to quickly address any product issues as they may arise.
- Report to Senior Management regarding the company's performance against licensed brand health and development objectives.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in licensing, business development, or intellectual property management.
- Strong understanding of licensing agreements, contract law, and intellectual property rights.
- Proven negotiation and deal-closing skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and financial reports.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
