Loads, Dynamics, and Test Engineer

General Atomics Systems Integration, LLC (GA-SI) is a leading provider of military and commercial engineering services. We are seeking a highly skilled Loads, Dynamics, and Test Engineer to join our team in Kaysville, UT.

Job Summary

As a Loads, Dynamics, and Test Engineer, you will be responsible for determining and developing effective approaches for resolving complex engineering problems. You will perform structural analysis of aircraft components, assemblies, test fixtures, and systems, and support the development of structural test plans, instrumentation requirements, and test data analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform structural analysis (static and dynamic) of aircraft components, assemblies, test fixtures, and systems.
  • Conduct Finite Element Analysis of metallic structures using computer analysis methods and classical hand-calculation methods.
  • Support the development of structural test plans, instrumentation requirements, on-site testing, and test data analysis.
  • Document findings, communicate results to engineering staff, and make technical presentations as required.
  • Coordinate segments of a specific project and interact with customers on technical issues.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally in all interactions through written and verbal methods.
  • Plan for future applications of solutions based on new developments in engineering technology and approaches.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to company policies and procedures.
Requirements
