Position Overview:This role is crucial for maintaining the Preventive Maintenance Program. Responsibilities include processing all purchases related to maintenance and ensuring accuracy in incoming shipments. Inventory management of plant-purchased items is also a key aspect of this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule preventive maintenance work orders.
- Monitor and track work orders.
- Distribute work orders to the appropriate maintenance departments.
- Document and analyze unscheduled maintenance and downtime, preparing relevant reports.
- Engage in discussions regarding modifications to maintenance schedules.
- Track inventory usage and submit requisitions to maintain adequate stock levels.
- Receive and process plant-specific purchases.
- Verify incoming goods against shipping notices.
- Ensure received goods meet purchase order specifications.
- Complete Corrective Action Preventive Actions (CAPAs) as necessary.
- Manage returns, rejections, and credits with vendors, ensuring proper documentation.
- Input receipts and stock items into the inventory system.
- Conduct weekly physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Perform monthly inventory reconciliations for accounting purposes.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Two-year technical degree or relevant experience preferred.
- Experience in preventive maintenance, inventory management, and procurement of maintenance supplies.
- Strong ethical standards and integrity.
- Proficient in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office, with excellent data entry skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with exceptional organizational abilities.
- Ability to pass a Respirator Fit Test; no facial hair that interferes with the respirator seal is permitted.
Work Environment:
This position operates within a production environment, requiring the ability to lift, pull, push, and carry up to 55 lbs regularly. The role necessitates sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, and climbing heights of up to 70 feet. Manual dexterity is essential for operating hand controls and computer keyboards, along with good vision and hearing.
