Wachter's Digital Content Manager Opportunity

Wachter, a nationwide technology integrator and electrical contractor, is seeking a skilled Digital Content Manager to join our team. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing copy and content contributors to drive meaningful engagement across our digital ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team, subject matter experts, and leadership to develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy.
  • Write and edit high-quality content pieces that target ideal customer segments and drive conversion.
  • Maintain an editorial calendar and manage content cycle to delivery.
  • Guide the development of content pieces that support search engine optimization (SEO) and promote strategic plans.
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities for improvement in conversions on the customer journey.
  • Manage content deliverables and success metrics to continually improve and monitor placed assets in the editorial calendar.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience writing in the IT technology space.
  • Demonstrated success in writing and editing both short- and long-form copy and content.
  • Fluent understanding of SEO.
  • Experience writing in AP style.
  • Ability to write clear, concise, and grammatically correct copy.
  • Advanced understanding of the English language and the ability to write in a variety of tones.
  • Experienced and confident working with executive-level leadership.
