Day Program Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Day Program Coordinator to oversee the daily operation of our day programming services. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centered programs that meet the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee all aspects of day programming, including programmatic observations and ensuring functional and age-appropriate programming is occurring.
- Continually identify and analyze individual interests and abilities, and conduct functional assessments to develop and implement creative, person-specific programming.
- Identify programmatic trends and develop plans to address any issues or concerns.
- Handle crisis situations according to emergency procedures and policies, and provide protective oversight and advocacy.
- Complete incident reports and conduct administrative investigations as needed.
- Supervise program staff, oversee the hiring and training process, and ensure fiscal integrity and safety oversight.
- Provide hands-on instruction to individuals served as needed.
- Oversee the facilitation of annual and semiannual meetings to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Review and ensure accuracy of Individual Program Plans (ISPs) and complete timely weekly billing.
- Monitor program census and attendance statistics to ensure budgetary goals are met.
- Participate in the development of new program initiatives and participate in peer review and internal audits.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field.
- 3 years of supervisory experience in OPWDD services.
- Knowledge of OPWDD regulations.
- Ability to modify the environment to ensure safety, including moving/pushing heavy objects up to 20 lbs.
- Ability to lift/move/carry 20 lbs.
- Ability to run after an individual up to 500 feet.
- Ability to respond to fire alarms and perform all physical SCIP techniques.
